| 1. Put a ground metal into a kiln. | 2. Take the ground metal out when its end heated in red, and hammer it. | 3. Take off a film made on the surface of the ground metal becouse it heated by being hammered and rubbed. | 4. Wet the hammer with water and beat again. |

| 5. Cut a Hagane(hard steel) into the appropriate pieces and put those Hagane on the ground metal applying a binder on the Hagane. This is called "Haganetsuke". | 6. When "Haganetsuke" was done, put the material into a kiln. The fire of the kiln is generated with the blower, and coke and the crude petroleum, etc. are used as a fuel now. | ||
